In the whole mechanical field, mechanical gear is a widely used mechanical transmission part, which has the advantages of compact structure, stable transmission ratio, high transmission efficiency, long service life, etc. In China, people have started to use gears since 400-200BC. With the development of social production, mechanical gear, as a key core component, has been paid more and more attention.
Mechanical gear is mainly used to transfer the movement and power between any two shafts. It is usually used with worm, chain and other toothed parts to complete the tasks of increasing torque, transferring force between points, changing the direction of movement, increasing speed, reducing speed, changing torque, splitting transmission power, etc.
Mechanical gears are widely used in many fields, such as energy, petrochemical, metallurgy, steel, materials and other heavy industries, as well as automobiles, aviation, ships, agricultural machinery, and even mechanical watches, alarm clocks, air conditioners, washing machines and so on, which are common in our daily life. 1. Automobile industry
In the automotive industry, mechanical gears are often used in transmission mechanisms. A gear transmission is composed of several shafts and several mechanical gears fixed by the axis and a housing, which can achieve the functions of speed change, direction change and torque change. For example, the shift of an automobile is to change the gear through the change of the mechanical gear transmission ratio. In the field of heavy industry, all kinds of mechanical gears, large and small, will be used in many occasions to meet different working requirements. Especially suitable for CNC machine tools, machining centers, cutting machines, welding machines, etc. with heavy load, high precision, high rigidity, high speed and long stroke. For example, in the machine tool, the movement of the spindle is transmitted to the shaft through the mechanical gear pair. By changing the transmission of the mechanical gear, the speed of the spindle can be changed.
3. Railway industry
When it comes to the application of mechanical gears in the field of railway and aviation, we have to mention a concept "gear box", which is the general term of a transmission mechanism. Generally, torque is obtained by reducing the speed of power, or conversely, the speed is used to increase the speed of power. For example, it is used in the wheel drive part of railway vehicles and the turbine generator used in wind power and thermal power generation.
