After years of painstaking research and development, the company grandly launched the automatic compensation mechanical disc brake system at the end of May 2021 in Chengdu Electric Vehicle Exhibition.
The automatic compensation mechanical disc brake system is another subversive technological revolution in the field of braking system. The R&D team has undergone hundreds of experiments and improvements. The MDB-180 (light), MDB-208 (medium) and MDB220 (heavy) mechanical disc brake systems were introduced. It can be applied to the safe braking of front and rear wheels of all kinds of two wheel, three wheel and four wheel vehicles. Since the mechanical disc brake has constant braking clearance and automatic compensation function, the R&D team has also realized the linkage of three wheels, greatly improving the vehicle braking performance.
The utility model relates to an automatic compensating mechanical disc brake, which belongs to a disc type braking device. It is well known that the disc brake is sensitive and powerful. However, most disc brakes on the market now use oil pressure braking. A series of accessories such as master oil pump, slave cylinder and oil pipe are required, and the cost of the whole vehicle is high. At the same time, the oil pressure disc brake also has some disadvantages. There are risks such as blockage and leakage of the oil circuit. Once the oil circuit has problems, there will be no brake for the whole vehicle, which has a high safety risk. In addition, there is a high demand for the maintenance, repair and installation skills of the oil pressure disc brake. General maintenance personnel or users do not adjust well, and there is no brake after loading, even safety accidents. The mechanical brake completely adopts mechanical structure, does not need oil pressure, and saves a series of accessories such as oil pump, oil pipe and handbrake cable. In terms of vehicle cost, some costs have been saved. The most important thing is to avoid the safety risks such as blockage and oil leakage of the oil pressure system. Based on the consideration of probability and time, even if the mechanical disc brake fails, the probability of simultaneous failures on both sides is greatly reduced, that is, even if one side fails, the other side can effectively brake, unlike the oil pressure, once it fails, the whole vehicle has no brake.
Through experiments and testing by the National Motorcycle Quality Inspection Center, the braking force of mechanical disc brake has exceeded that of hydraulic brake, and the braking force is greater. The brake operation mode is the same as that of mechanical hub brake, which uses pull rod or cable brake. The braking is reliable, stable and safe. In addition, there is a major innovation in this technology, which is constant clearance and automatic compensation function. That is, there is always a certain clearance between the brake disc and the brake pad to ensure that there is no or less friction between the brake disc and the brake pad during normal driving, reduce brake heating, improve braking performance, and extend service life. At the same time, when the brake pad is worn, its clearance can be automatically compensated, eliminating the trouble of adjusting the clearance of the pull rod during the use of the user.
